Yes There Are Easy Ways To Lose Weight

by

One can only shake their head when they see the billions of dollars that are dedicated to the latest diet craze, diet books, miracle diet drugs, and medical procedures to rid a person of fat.
When will people figure out that we are all products of our environment regardless of what country or century we happen to be born in? When you see pictures of people in the 19th century for example you don't notice that obesity seemed to be a major issue at the time. For the most part, people were average-sized and the odd person would be obese. There's a huge reason for this.
That generation simply had better food choices available. Or to put it differently, they had fewer bad choices available. They didn't have fast food, chemical additives, force-fed animals, pesticides, fertilizers, and a killer variety of hydrogenated fats that people of today are exposed to on a daily basis. As a population they probably were much fitter as well. There were less convenient methods of travel and people used their own power to get around. There were fewer industrialized machines to do the manufacturing and farming work, so they got out there and did it themselves. They simply lived healthier and were exposed to more fresh air, sunshine, and better food choices.
How often do you see a picture of a fat caveman? There's a reason why it just never happened back in the early days of civilization. The food sources that were available were basic and provided the necessary fuel for survival and growth and that was about it. Is was Mastodon meat, berries, roots, and fish that kept the caveman going. Well what do you know? A Balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats seemed to be on the menu every day of the year. Fast food joints were nowhere to be seen. Mastodon meat never came pre-packaged with noodles for a quick and easy meal for the busy cave-man. There was no such thing as sugar and flour and designer fats that lead to heart disease, diabetes, and a host of other diseases. Combine that with the fact that they burned all their extra calories by walking for miles every day in search of food and you have yourself a slimmed-down caveman.
Forget the fancy diets and think about eating like a caveman for 6 about 8 weeks. For all those people who say that can't lose weight, I defy them to say they can't lose weight if they eliminate wheat, sugar (or any type of sweetener), all but one small fruit a day, packaged food, processed food of any kind, canned food, and dairy products from their diet. So in other words, no bread, buns, muffins, cake, cookies, donuts, soda, chocolate, sweeteners, hot dogs, hamburgers, milk, ice cream, bacon, cheese, sausages, packaged meat, canned food, and the list goes on and on of the food that is slowly killing you.
Stick to fresh or frozen vegetables, eggs, butter, whole grains like brown rice and oatmeal, potatoes, coconut oil, olive oil, water, nuts, two medium black coffee per day if desired or herbal tea, beef twice a week if desired, fish(canned tuna and salmon okay), chicken, turkey, lamb, and limited fruit as they are high in sugar.
While you give this a try, get out there and go for a walk, ride your bike, or go for a swim. Do "something" physically active for 3 or 4 days a week for an hour or so. I don't care how fat you are, there is no way you will not lose weight it you follow this regimen and stick to it faithfully for an 8 week test period. Once you see the difference it makes after your 2 month experiment you will see why it's the food that's available to us that is causing all the obesity problems. Once "you" take control of what goes into your system, magic can happen.
Now if you are thrilled with your weight loss after your little trial, you will know the secret to losing weight. You can slowly add more into your diet and monitor the difference it makes. Add dairy products like skim milk and yogurt but pass on the ice cream and coffee cream. Add a few more fruit and try some pasta that is not wheat-based. Try using honey as your main sweetener.
I think it's an easy way to lose weight if it's truly in your heart to do what it takes. How many months and years and books and diets have you gone through with few results to show? What can be so hard about trying an eating plan for 8 weeks that could change your life?
